In Tang Dynasty period, Tang-Fan Ancient Route is the main arteries of traffic from Changan( Capital of Chian in Tang Dynastery) to Tufan. It also the way that princess Wencheng have went across to marry the king of Tufan. Till now this ancient route already have more than 1300 years, around 3000km. It's also named" Southern Silk Road". Overland on this ancient route you will be charming with the long long history...

Day by day Itinerary:
Day01: Xining- Maduo(500km, good conditon road) Overnight at Maduo dorm bed
We will go to Koko Nor Lake first,then pass the Moutain Riyue which is 3500M.On the way you can see a river which is flowing backwards. It says that because princess Wencheng missed her hometown so much that tears can¡¯t help flow down and gather together. we will have lunch after we go to Gonghe from Huangyan town. From Koko Nor Lake to Maduo town,we can see the scenery of Maduo prairie.The mountain Maduo is 4300M; it called "hundreds lakes".

Day02: Maduo- Yushu(520m, rough road, 3600m) Overnight at Yushu dorm bed
The road condition is not very good from Maduo to the source of yellow river.Nearly no car can pass it except off-road vehicle. Near the source of yellow river, you will be moved by the Eling lake. There are hundreds of lakes around Xingxiu sea. It¡¯s very magnificent.Then we go to Yushu, pass the mountain pass BaYangela(5082M), and go into the SanJiangyuan nature reserve at last.

Day03: Yushu- Manigango(340km, rough road, 3400m) Overnight at Manigango dorm bed
You will get a dep impression once you go into Tibet region. In Yushu, there is Jiegu monastery of Shajia wing.And the monastery of Wencheng is not very big,but very special.We can stay in Yushu one day and then pass the shiqu,arrive at Arms Mani at last.  

Day04: Manigango- Jiangda(280km, rough road, 3300m) Overnight at Jiangda dorm bed

Day05: Jiangda- Chamdo(328km)        Overnight at Chamdo stander room
Out of Dege,along the Gangtuo Bridge in Jinsha to the Chamdo area of Jiangda.Jiangda is the first county of the Sichuan Tibet west line enter into Tibet,which is situated in northeast of the Chamdo area,Jinsha upriver.From Jiangda,along the 4000m high mountain,through 4 mountain pass,up to Mt. Mala get to Chamdo,visit Jampaling Monastery and Karuo Ruins.Jampaling Monastery built in 1437 which is Chamdo Monasery for short and is the earliest/biggest monastery in Kang area of Gelu Wing.Karuo Ruins(3100m) situated at the west of Langcang River,far from 12km from Chamdo Area.    

Day06: Chamdo- Bangdada- Basu(265km)             Overnight at Basu dorm bed
From Chamdo to Bangda(4400km) is the conjunction of south line and the west line.Farewell the grassland,up the biggest natural barrier of the Hengduan Mountain---Nujiang Mountain(4893m high),along the famous 99 turn to the lakeside of Nujiang to get to Basu.                                          

Day07: Basu- Rawok(90km)                 Overnight at Rawok dorm bed        
Along the meadow,overlook glaciers get to Rawok.At the near is the green grassland, flourish qingke and cole.At the middle of the mountain are the thick forest,but at the top of the mountain are the pure white snow.At this tonight,you have to go to Ranwu town to enjoy the Alps like snow scenery.(If the guests want to visit Lagu Glacier,the guests have to buy the exchange fee of the car by themselves)                  

Day08: Rawok- Bomi(218km)                Overnight at Bomi stander room  
Get up early,enjoy the beauty of Ranwu Lake by yourselves,evening return to Bomi.   

Day09: Bomi- Bayi(233km)   Overnight at Bayi 3 star hotel
Head for the conjunction of Niyang River and Yarlung Tsangpu River and get to Pai Town of the Yarlung Tsangpu River.We have arranged speacially the trekking to the best touring sites in Mt. Nanjiabawa---Daduka.If the weather is fine,you will have a chance to have a view of Mt. Nanjiabawa.From the Zhamu town of Bomi County,through the aboriginal forest,head for the last natural barrier¡ªMaitong.at the process from Maitong to Pailong 15km place,there is floodwater and bolar collapse which break off the use of the road,and the famous 102 coast are at there.After Pailong,the road state turns good,pass through the thick Milang which is another good place for overlooking the Nanjiabawa.Up to Mt. Selaji to get to Bayi town(2400m) which is far from 19km to visit the Cypress Forest in Bayi town.           

Day10: Bayi- Lhasa(460km)          Overnight at Lhasa 3 star hotel      
From the Bayi town,along the way enjoy the beautiful Niyang river,after pass through the Gongbujiangda,head forward to the holy lake of Darksum-tso(3500m high,27 sq.km.).Then,drive back to the main stem of Sichuan-Tibet road,get to Lhatse.After getting Lhastse westing,you can have a distant view of Potala Palace,and the dreamlike city¡ªLhasa is appearing in you eyes.

Day11: Lhasa city tour     Overnight in Lhasa 3 star hotel
Morning time visit Potala Palace. Then visit Jokhang Temple, walk around Barkhor Market.
                                                                                           
Day12: Lhasa city tour     Overnight at Lhasa 3 star hotel
Morning time visit Drepung Monastery. , then afternoon to Sera Monastery.        

Day13: Lhasa- Namtso Lake- Lhasa( 500km, 7 hours driving, asphalt road in good condition, 4178m, 5-15¡ãC)  Overnight at Lhasa 3 star hotel
In the morning around 08:00am, our guide and drive pick you from your hotel, then we leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. On the way you will see the huge grassland of Naqu and have a chance see the sky road- Qinghai Tibet Railway passing through it look likes a dragon. Then the Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges in front of you, and also you will pass the Nagela Pass. Then on the way back to Lhasa you have a chance enjoy the Yangpachen hotspring, back to Lhasa.

Depends on how long times you arrive in Lhasa and your body health, suggestion the traveler whol just arrive in Lhasa for few day don¡¯t take the hot spring that maybe you will get the high altitude sickness

Day14: Lhasa airport or train station dropping off.
