Highlights:
In this 9 days tour,you will see not only many beautiful palces in Lhasa,but also you can see Shalu Monastery,Ngor Monastery,Nartang Monastery,Tashilunpo Monastery and have many trekkings around these famous monasteries.
This two or three day walk is a good opportunity to get a feel for trekking in Tibet. The two passes en route, Showa-la and Char-la, are not panicularly high or difficult and the trailheads are easily accessible from Shigatse. 

This trek begins at the historic Shalu Monastery and traverses west over a couple of small ranges to Ngor Monastery. From Ngor it is a downhill slog to Nartang Monastery. The route passes through several villages as well as uninhabited dry canyons. It is about a 10 hour walk to Ngor from Shalu, which is best divided into two days and another seven hours from there to Nartang.

Day by day Itinerary:
Day01: Shanghai/Beijing/Chengdu/ Xian flight to Lhasa ( 80km, asphalt road, 3595m,  15-19centigrade)    Overnight at Lhasa stander room
- Depature from Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guangzhou, Chongqin: You will use your copy of your Tibet Entry Permit, your passport and flight ticket change the broding pass flight to Lhasa by yourself.

- Depature from Chengdu: Morning time our staff pick you from your hotel in Chengdu then dropping of you to Chengdu airport help you check in. 2 hour fligth you will arrive at Lhasa Gongga airport. Tibet local guide will pick you from airport to Lhasa city. Rest in hotel. 
Or: Take train from Shanghai/Beijing/Chengdu to Lhasa(3days); Xian/Xining/Lanzhou(2days)    

Day02: Lhasa city tour     Overnight in Lhasa
Morning time visit Potala Palace. Then visit Jokhang Temple, walk around Barkhor Market. 
                                                                                           
Day03: Lhasa city tour     Overnight at Lhasa stander room
Morning time visit Norblingka Park,afternoon to Tibetan Museam.Night time have chance tast Tibetan cuisne and Tibetan culture show(own expense).

Day04: Lhasa- Namtso Lake- Yangpacheng Hotspring- Lhasa( 500km, 7 hours driving, asphalt road in good condition, 4178m, 5-15centigrade)  Overnight at Lhasa
In the morning around 08:00am, our guide and drive pick you from your hotel, then we leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. On the way you will see the huge grassland of Naqu and have a chance see the sky road- Qinghai Tibet Railway passing through it look likes a dragon. Then the Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges in front of you, and also you will pass the Nagela Pass. Then on the way back to Lhasa you have a chance enjoy the Yangpachen hotspring, back to Lhasa. 
Notes:
Depends on how long times you arrive in Lhasa and your body health, suggestion the traveler whol just arrive in Lhasa for few day don't take the hot spring that maybe you will get the high altitude sickness.

Day05: Lhasa- Yamdrotso Lake- Gyantse(590km, 6hours driving)  Overnight at Gyantse.
Morning time driving to Shiatse, on the way pass Gangbala Mt. which is over than 5000m, then to Yamdrotso lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Arrive at Gyantse. 

Day06: Gyantse- Shalu Monastery- Upper Lungsang(Trekking, 5-6 hours, 14km)  Overnight in Tent
Drive to Shalu Monastery from Gyantse, only 70km away. Visit Shalu Monastery. Then start trekking.

Day07: Upper Lungsang- Ngor Monastery(trekking, 4hours, 8km) Camping
 
Day08: Ngor Monastery- Nartang Monastery- Shigatse(trekking 5 hours, 18km)  Overnight at Shigatse
Today trekking from Ngor to Nartang by passing several villages, saddles, and one electric utility. After arriving at Nartang Monastery, our driver will pick you up to Shigatse. 

Day09: Shigatse- Lhasa  Overnight at Lhasa.
Visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in Shigatse, afternoon drive back to Lhasa.

Day10: Lhasa airport or train station dropping off.
Dropping off end the trip.
