The Yark Hotel is located inthe center of the old Tibetan town, close to the Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Square.

The hotel was built in 1986 in traditional Tibetan style and attracts travelers from all over the wolrd.

With recent upgrades and new wing the hotel has 120 rooms(280 beds)ranging from deluxe suites to dormitory rooms. Al standard andddeluxe rooms have private bathroom with 24 hors hot water, heating, air conditioningand IDD phone acccess.

The rooftop tea hose offers excellet views of the old town and the Potala Palace.
