over crashing waves and swirling rapids for the excitement of lifetime. Nepal has earned a reputation as one of the best destinations in the world for white water rafting. Nepal's thundering waters, coming from the glaciers of the mighty Himalayan, provide unmatched thrills for rafting and immersing oneself in the landscape. A rafting trip is bound to be the highlight of your stay in the country. Rivers are graded on a scale of one to six, with one being a swimming pool and six a one -way ticket to your maker. Many choose to incorporate a ride down the Trisuli with either a trip to Pokhara or to the Royal Chitwan National Park.
There are Short Trips and Long Trips 2 kinds.
Short Trips:
Rafting for short trip between 1 and 4 days where won't be any trekking involved. Some of these trips involve less challenging white water and are ideally suited to first time rafters and families. Attractive experience of other thrill-seekers with their world- class rapids.
Long trips:

. Kaligandaki River( 55km, Autumn, Spring)
Named after the Hindu goddess of destruction, Kali, the river rises in Mustang, on the northern side of the Himalayan range. As it tumbles down between the majestic Daulagiri and the Annapurna ranges, it creates one of the world's deepest river canyons.
The recent damming of the lower portion of this river, has left us with one of Nepal's premier medium length river journeys; combining great whitewater with some of the most beautiful scenery in Nepal, seldom-visited villages, truly quiet and introspective evenings, abundant wildlife, sandy beaches and outrageously beautiful waterfalls.
The rapids on the Kali Gandaki are much more technical and continuous keeping paddlers busy all day. Both experienced and novice rafters love this. Nowhere else is it possible to find such diversity on a 3 day raft trip. Nice drops, sparkling chutes and turbulent rapids provide class III to IV+ runs during the fall and spring seasons. This ancient trading route from Tibet takes you through the deepest river gorge in the world. . Bhote Koshi River ( 20km, Autumn, Spring)

Rated at grade 3+ the Trisuli River is one of the most popular of Nepal's raftable rivers. Due to its proximity to Kathmandu and easy road access, most rafting companies offer trips there. Many visitors choose to incorporate a ride down the Trisuli with a trip to Pokhara or one to Royal Chitwan National Park.
The easily accessible trishuli river from Kathamandu and Pokhara is Nepal's most popular river for rafting which is impressive gorges, exciting rapids, some easier sections. The Trisuli white water trip exciting, fun and safe for all age groups. Our 2-day trips will overnight at Trisuli River Retreat our private camp with comfortable safari-tented accommodation set in private grounds with river views surrounded by forests. - One day trip:
After early breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu, you will be driven 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Fishling. Prior to rafting, river guide provides a thorough briefing about the safety measures and guidelines. Thereafter, begins rafting journey for about 4 hrs down to Mugling with a short lunch break. Once you are done with rafting, you can either return to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National park or Pokhara.
- 2 days trip:
Day01: After early breakfast at hotel in Kathmandu, you will be driven 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Malekhu. Abiding the guidelines provided by a river guide, you will raft down to Majimtar for about 4 hrs with a short lunch break. Finally, you conclude the trip by setting a camp on the river bank.
Day02:You continue drifting along the rapids of Trishuli River to Mugling. After finishing rafting, you have a choice to return to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National park or Pokhara.
- 3 days trip:
Day01: Soon after intaking delicious breakfast at the hotel in Kathmandu, you will be driven for 3-4 hrs to the raft put-in point at Charaundi. Under the guidance of a river guide, you venture into a river trip up to Kurintar for about 4 hrs with a short lunch break. Eventually, you camp near the river bank at a superb location.
Day02: On this day, you resume your rafting trip along Trishuli River till you arrive at Simalar. After reaching Simaltar, you conclude your river trip and make camping arrangement for overnight stay.
Day03: Guided by the call of the nature you continue your river trip. After having rafted for about 3-4 hrs, you reach the climax of the trip. At this point, you have a choice to either return to Kathmandu, Royal Chitwan National park or Pokhara.
. Seti River (35km Autumn, Spring, 2 days)
You can have a fairly short trip in the Seti River and offers beautiful mountain views and also unique river passing through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas of Manaslu and Annapurna regions. It has impressive gorges exciting rapids on its small volume white water, passing through the two greenery hills usually explored by beginner and intermediate kayak learners and rafters. Then there is lovely 90 kilometers float with wildlife and beautiful scenery along the banks and opportunities for fishing in a wilderness nearly uninterrupted by human habitations.
