There was once a song that told: a legend says on a vast mountian, t ere is a road full of twists and turns. The white clouds float freely with the wind from the deep of the mountains. The faces of the horse riders are pink, reflected by the rosy clouds. The legend says beside the pretty Lancang Jiang there's an endless road. The bells of the horse wake up the villages and the horse bring the hopes to A Mala. the legend says in the remote and mysterious Tibet there's an old road. It connects the main land and the territories. the road combines the ever wealth and the dreams. Aha... There Rivers are dancing; Kangba Man are singing, the beaufiul Tea-orse Old Road, you let me love you more, think you more. In fact, this is my song, the song that I always sing in my heart.

  Because of working in Tibet for several decades, my love any my heart are already tied with this mysterious place. I'm always impressed by this mysterious, vast and fantastic place. In recent years, the develpment of Tea-horse Old Road has encouraged people to introduce more of it to the world.

  The tea-horse Old Road has beautiful scenery, and it is like a long-time legend in the people's mind. The Tea-horse Old Road is a business passage and its soul is salt field and horses. The Tea-horse Old Road has extensive knowledge of it's own Buddhism, and its spirit is shown from the different types of umptuous temple. The Tea-horse Old Road is also a soft and sentimental woman,and many tired horse riders are set free from her hot spring. The Tea-horse Old Road is one of the endless branches of the ancient kangba culture.

  The tea-horse Old Road begins with Sui and Tang, flourished from Ming and Qing, and developed from today. It is one of the most importan ways for Tibet and the main land to exchange politics, economics and cultures. It also proves the uniting of China. With the development of the Three Rivers Ecological Traveling Area, we hope the Tea-horse Old Road will become the last developing gold traveling line aftr the Silk Passage and Yangtze River that connect Sichuan, Yunan, tbiet and Qinghai Provinces.

Day05: Pasho- Pomi Rawok Lake, Forests.
Day06: Pomi- Bayi(Nyingtri), Mt. Serkhyimla Forest, Tibetan village.
Day07: Bayi- Lhasa, Basumtso Lake, Mt. Mila Kongpo Gyamda.
