Shangri-La, the five-star hotel, will be constructed in Lhasa next year and plans to be completed in 2011. Five Hong Kong designers responsible for this project will fly to Lhasa tomorrow.

600 million yuan will be invested in Shangri-La (Lhasa) Hotel, which will be located on the former site of Lhasa Gardens Bureau on Norbu Lingka road. Besides some features of Tibetan culture will be used for the hotel design.
