To the south of Jinbi Lu are two Tang pagodas. Xisi Ta(West pagoda),is the one worth visiting. Dongsi Ta(East pagoda) was, according to Chinese sources, destroyed by an earthquake western sources say it was destroyed by the Muslim revolt. It was rebuilt in the 19th century, but there's little to see.
The more interesting Xisi Ta is on Dongsi Jie a bustling market street, Xisi Ta has a compound that is a popular spot for old people to get together, drink tea and play cards and mahjong. You can get a haircut and shave at the base of the pagoda.
It's a bit tricky to find. Look out for a read gateway hidden among the trees and karaoke sings: the pagoda is a bout 20m in along a narrow corridor. The temple is open from 9am to 9pm.
